-Installed backwards - make sure blue arrow is towards cooled area.
-Not enough exhaust room - coolers need plenty of space leading outside behind them to send exhausted heat (coolers don't make cool air - they extract hot air and get rid of it!)
-Not completely roofed - no roof, no cool!
-Not all powered - no electricity, no workie!
Most likely one of those, but again, need pics to really see.
how do you post pictures?
oh yeah and theres also a heatwave 55C outside
try doubling the walls and replacing all those unnecesary doors getting a diffferent exit to your base instead of going trough your freezer
heat waves will make it hard on your freezers no matter what, they work like actual freezers, venting warm air out drawing cold air in, at 55C they cant really be effective at 70c they kinda stop working entirely
Heatwave & freezer with entrance from outside & no airlocks = spoiled food.
-Double walls would certainly help.
you should try to keep the inside under 30C anyway so protecting from the 50C outside should be priority
as is now your freezer is probably keeping your base at a livable temperature
Agreed!
