Gamers aren't Artistic??

I'm doing it again, spending more time making and recreating characters in whatever game that allows me. When making pawns using the Prepare Carefully mod, I was noticing that a lot of the nerd and gamer backstories disabled art for some reason. How am I supposed to make my Waifu Nikki Ann-Marie in the game when so many of the Gamer ackstories won't allow her to art?!

It is also a little silly how so many backstories are so willing to disable different things, especially art, but I guess this is a balance or just to make the game more "interesting". The devs should be let known about this whole "gamers not being able to art" fiasco.

Well I game and I art. Nikki games and she arts. I'm just saying that not so many of these gamer/nerd backgrounds should disable art.

I see what you are saying. I think rather then a background guaranteeing an inability to do something there should be a chance, like a 75% chance a gamer can't art

No, it shouldn't be RNG, I'm just saying they should be more hesitant to plain disable some tasks, especially those that don't seem to make much sense. If you have seen some of the backgrounds, the more extreme cases, like the assassins, they literally can only stab and shoot. May be exagerating.

Nikki Ann Marie is the name of my next door neighbour... Also, someone who does art isn't called a gamer.

I didn't say that someone who arts is called a gamer. I'm saying that the Nikki I am refering to is a gamer who also arts.

Yeah and I know plenty of people who do stuff that the skill disables. And the skill. Everyone's different so it's impossible for that to be the case. Disabling skills ISN'T Game balance. It's game design.
