Party will not end, and is scripted to always happen
I didn't know parties aren't a random event. They seem to be timed. On that note...

This one particular party starts and won't end. It doesn't matter if I go way back, it still happens around the same time, and if I draft everyone and try to prevent it from happening, it happens after I undraft.

Any ideas how to avoid the party, or dismiss it?

I have mods but no new ones on this playthrough.

Even if you didn't add new mods, that doesn't mean
the mods you have didn't changed. Sometime, modders update their mods
and broke them... or make some incompatibilities.

Hmm but thre's no updates, I was desperate and went one by one. I did get some weird debug message about Call of Cthulu, but I've been using it since I first started playing and nothing seems to have been updated...

Oh man. Maybe this helps figure out what's going wrong. I noticed a group of visitors was actually hanging out at the bottom of the map. One is already dead of severe malnutrition and there's three more about to croak. Maybe whatever causes events to end - like whatever times the duration of things - isn't working?

Having the same problem as well. How i fixed it is i opened the dev mode, downed every body, then healed them. As for visitors, i gave them the mental break GiveupExit.

Actually, thanks so much for mentioning this. I hadn't even tried dev mode. PSA: this is the only way I've found so far of resolving the situation. And now I can use Dev mode to fix other things! Yay! I hope they never take it out.

UPDATE: It was not an isolated incident. No visits seem to end anymore - caravans, people passing through, etc. And parties don't end. I have no idea what's going on.

Hmmm wanna compare mods, see if we have one in common? The problem is, of course, there are a few that will cause the save to not run anymore if that's the case (such as Call of Cthulu).
Do you happen to still have a log of the Call of Cthulhu bug you mentioned?

Unfortunately, I didn't save the log. I did "share log" but no idea how to find it now.

But the offending item ended in /CosmicHorror

This is what I'm using (and I confirmed, at least, that trading spot mod wasn't the cause, as I removed it prior to the party happening and the party still went on forever):

Did you try to create a new colonie and use the dev tool to
start a new party see if that happen again?
If you got the same bug, try without mod.
If you got the bug, again, that mean this is your game.
If not, this is one of your mod.
