Can't cook even though I have materials?

Literally what it says. I have the thing full of fuel, I have enough berries and meat to feed an army but I still can't cook because apparently I 'don't have materials'. Is this seriously a bug because that just ruins my entire save game now I've gone back as far as the autosaves would let me. I like this game a lot but this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug.

You miss something or
a mod broke your game.

Try to delete/redo your bills, be sure the food
you want to used is in the accepted list and if you use "until I have x",
make sure you don't already had the quota...
And if this is a fine/lavish meal, be sure you got a character with
enough cooking skill to do them.

Definitwly not a bug. Is allow rotten allowed? Could be that.
Are you making fine/lavish meals, but don't have both vegetables/meat? Probabky a mistake on yourpart.

This just suddenly happened?

If you make two new zones adjacent to the stove for meat and veggies and haul some there can you do it then?


Maybe check your ingredient range setting.

Nah it's simple for now, didn't roll anyone who could cook better.

I'll check that. But I doubt it since I keep the food right next door in a pantry.

More info would be good. What kind of meals are you trying to make? (Along with the other settings for that meal task like what food resources are allowed)
