growing trees indoors?

seems like my pawns wont plant any trees indoors. is that normal? If yes than how should i be able to get wood in very cold enviroments?
All other plants work fine

Trees grow fine indoors. Check temps! Select your growing zone and see what message is listed in window in lower left of screen. Or take screenshot while the growing zone is selected and post it here.(with mouse hovered over grow zone would be preferable as well)

Trees should grow on soil, even if it's enclosed by walls and roofed in (with proper lighting and heating, of course). However, they will NOT grow in hydroponic basins. IIRC, they shouldn't even show up in the list of plants to grow there.

Its normal "100%" soil ground.
so it says "growing season is here now". temp is 20°C. all other plants grow just fine but my pawns just wont plant any trees indoors . if i manually select him the game wont even give me an option to grow.
seems like its a bug i will try to validate and update the game maybe its an error in the files although it seems odd to me that everything else grows fine.
I can also plant trees outside but not inside.

edit: i found the mistake, i tried to plant vegetables inbetween the 1x1 tiles i set up for trees so thats why it didnt work.
