Rimworld higher difficulty more events?
Does higher difficulty setting increase the ammount of raids? Or only the strenght of the raid?

Considering going from Randy rough to Randy intense just to get a litte more events going on

Just the strength of the raids, with the exception of base builder and peaceful.

If you want more consistant raids switch to casandra.

Ah I see. I've played tons of Cassandra and really wanted to try something new with Randy and a few mods :)

Some people like Randy and swear by him, but I find him to be generally very boring. The occasional string of difficult events doesn't make up for all the times where he just does nothing at all interesting for a year.

I played randy extreme for awhile but truthfully for most of the time i got the lazy randy, would go full years without events each playthrough ( both vanilla and modded). I had to stop playing with randy cause it was just like a basebuilder difficulty is now.

Yeah I can agree on that, but he does fit well into my mods. I'm using a few alien race mods and with Randy I get more different races joining my colony then with Cassandra, she gives me mostly the vanilla humans
