My pawns won't finish constructions! And they are stuck
So, whenever my pawns build stuff they sometimes just get stuck on some stuff (forever) building only like x% of the thing, and they keep on working on it doing nothing?!!? What's happening? I do have some mods, but i tried all of them individually and they have nothing, what?

I have this issue as well. It just started randomly halfway through my playthrough.

Similar thing here as well.
Noticed people getting exausted while harvesting, which, after a closer look, showed that pawns get stuck on any action with 0 progress. Harvesting, butchering, crafting, etc
It's very clear to see on stuff like sculture crafting or research, where the progress meter doesn't change at all. Happens mostly in the mid/end game part, getting more frequent the later the game is.

Welp, there's like 40 mods installed and it makes it more valid that the problem is, indeed, with the mods or the combination of them.
Gona make a list of them, but something tells me that without some debug command, which allows to see where the pawns action gets a cycle error, it's not gona help much.

Have you trying setting work via the work tab? Pawns have many jobs and you can set it so they work on one type of job. Construction for example.

Also do your pawns have enough building material? They (sometimes) will not use it unless said building material is in a stockpile.

Or just set it to a higher priority. The lower the number the higher the priority. Pawns will work on number 1 task before doing number 3 task (most of the time).
Don't forget that you can toggle between the number setting to the check box setting located in the upper left side of the work tab. This makes it easier if you just want them to stop doing one type of job.

Did all of these, nothing works

I have found resetting work priorities to automatic helps a bit. One pawn does keep on trying to chop a tree until starvation point, however.

Figured it out. My dysfunctional pawns were equipped with Stalker weapons. Dropped the weapons and voila! They started working. This is the Mechanoid mod. To be fair they do say some weapons will prevent work in their mod description. What they don't say is that they will literally break your pawns.

Thanks a lot! It indeed helped. Those mods for some reason did break work cycle (how?!). So far no pawns gettin stuck if I remove the modded equipment. Funny thing that so far only the shield generator item doesn't cause a stuck bug for a pawn equiped with it. The rest of the armor and weapons does cause this bug.

I am having this issue with the current build. All of my wooden dining chairs are stuck at 94% and will not complete...is anyone else still experiencing this bug? I have no mods enabled.
