Slept In The Cold?
I've got heaters in my colonist's rooms all set to 50F yet they're still 'sleeping in the cold'. What is an acceptable temperature?

I put my temp to 72F

Well firstly 21C (69.8F) is room temperature so I'd suggest setting it to that. Then if that doesn't work check they're not for some reason sleeping outside. Also check to see whether a roof is on the bedroom.

I agree, you can hover your cursor over areas and it will tell you if its inside outside, unroofed and the temp of the room. Try to keep a few doors between outside and sleeping areas.

Okay, so the comfortable temp range is more for survivability, not 'comfort'.

Not really, the comfortable temp just dictates whether or not they're going to cry about it being cold. Survivability has to be above 0C (32F)
and after it goes past that point if they're not wearing the proper clothing they will contract hypothermia.

New theory on why your colonists may be cold, the haters see trying to use too much power to keep the temp to a comfortable level that they are exceeding your current power level. Also if you're using vents that may be a problem.

I'm good on power, turns out 50F was just too low :).

Ok, I'm glad you found your problem. Good luck with the rest of your colony. :-)

It'll probably end when I get raided by machine gun wielding soldiers like every colony but thanks anyway x3.

In my experience, 60F is around the lower threshold. At below 60F the slept in the cold can happen. I've never had it at 60F or above.

agreeable temp depends on the clothes they are wearing

It may have changed for A17, but in A16 clothing did not affect the slept in the cold debuff. The debuff is straight from room temp.

... have you ever tried to sleep in 50F? That's cold

Hey I sleep at pretty cold temps...

But what you said does make sense, I suppose I should use my head!
