Paranormal Security has deployed a new update for y'all to investigate in!

This is a smaller update, focused a lot on rewriting some systems that uses the statistics files and anomaly names at the same time.

Rewriting the anomaly name system was required for the translators to be able to translate anomaly names at all. When the translations are ready,

The next update will include a new map and some other goodies.

Update Version 0.1.7.219:

⚡ Features / Content added & changes

Rewrote stats generation system
Rewrote anomaly name system on End / Game over screens
Adjusted Shadow settings (again)
Changed (on Hard and Impossible difficulties - when there is no warning left) if you report something and it would game over you by spawning another anomaly while reporting, it will wait for the report to finish and give you another anomaly instead of game over you. (All though if you failed the report, it will game over you instead)
Added translated anomaly names (The anomaly missed texts at the Gameover and Gameend screens will now be translated)

🔧 Fixed Bugs

Fixed double black screen when finishing or failing a map
Fixed low quick graphics settings not applying
Fixed that the same entity events do not appear multiple times in one run
Fixed that you can press ESC to unpause the game and the music is not bugging out
Fixed the lighting issue on the Country House windows when a light anomaly was active
Fixed text wrapping on BSOD screens
Fixed stat file breaking bug where it would get the translation for the rooms instead of the original (This led to the problem that it couldn't find stats and couldn't save them either, especially when switching languages). This fix WILL renew the stats and might reset your progress if it saved them in a non-English language.

Needs optimization

Playing at 4k and my gpu is no slouch with FSR on performance and half the settings turned to medium or low I am still getting unstable frame rates also when going though cams I am getting allot of stutter on them as well. Hopefully a fix at some point it will probably affect me trying out hard or nightmare...

Paranormal Security has deployed a new update version 0.1.6.208 for y'all to investigate in!

This update focused a lot on game tweaking changes, performance improvements, and preparations for later content!
A bunch more anomalies and Entity anomalies have been added to the Country House.

Update Version 0.1.6.208:

⚡ Features / Content added & changes

Added more Hard and Impossible difficulty anomalies
Added reverb sound system to the Office
Added the seed as text in the bottom right corner of the current selected location
Added "Area not available" text to objects planned to be expanded
Added additional hitbox for moved anomalies, so you can report the original position as well as the moved object
Created more Geisha shenanigans and Entity events on CountryHouse
Changed shadow behaviour on distance
Changed Office world and lighting settings, this should increase the FPS significantly, depending on your system
Changed CountryHouse lighting settings
Changed minimum not repeatable anomalies array to 80% of the total anomalies active
Changed reporting circle behavior moving to the actual actor, will be more changed in the future
Changed Geisha entity hitbox
Changed the "x minutes until crash" text so it will show the actual seconds left until crashing
Changed report circle to have a final position
Changed the Entity spawner system so only one entity class can spawn at the same time (ex: only 1 Geisha at the same time but different entities can still spawn)
Reduced lighting in the Office
Adjusted shadow settings (This should fix most of the wacky shadows)
Increased anomaly timer on Hard and Impossible by 1 tick to counter the long report timer
Replaced the Stock image on the Country House
Rewrote the anomaly randomizer (Anomalies now spawn more according to their difficulty (Example: Hard difficulty anomalies now spawn way more often than easier once when playing on hard))
Limited Global Illumination level to "High" instead of Ultra, as it didn't affected GI much and tanked the FPS for no reason
Removed breaker and server text from E-Mail for now as it's not part of the gameplay in this version
The selected difficulty is now displayed on the button as well so it's more clear what difficulty you've selected
You now always get at least 2 entity anomalies
Locked and inaccessible area doors do not give an interact circle anymore

Fixed sign text clipping out of bounds on multiple languages
Fixed that the shadow model of the player doesn't play footsteps (No double footsteps anymore)
Fixed Entity spawner ignoring blocked cameras (Entities could spawn on malfunctioning cameras)
Fixed some light bleeding through the hallway walls
Fixed the colors of the blockade at the Country House Outside camera being blue when playing on low graphics mode
Fixed Distortion anomaly overwriting the spazm audio and audio anomaly volume
Fixed credits font not loading correctly
Fixed shadows on smaller objects
Fixed shadows on the signs in the Office Hallway
Fixed levitation anomaly clipping through the floor
Fixed texture not loading correctly of the stone in front of the office
Fixed the hitbox of the bathtub when upside down
Fixed Toiletpaperholder double hitbox
Fixed Gnome move anomaly having the wrong camera index resulting the default camera reporting the change
Fixed LOD level of objects on Country House
Fixed custom difficulty using "Impossible" weight values
Fixed stats save file not migrating correctly
Fixed when it detects a too-new generated stats file (ex: Switching from unstable to stable), it couldn't load correctly
Fixed critical soft-lock, when you pressed ESC multiple times when getting back into the office, it would give you a black screen and you couldn't do anything anymore and needed to force close the game

Fix please false positive

The only big issue I struggle with is sometimes actually quite often if I select an anomaly in a room and switch cameras it will think I reported in the following room and give a false positive which is super annoying on harder difficulties where you don't get a mistake and anomalies are happening often so i am just reporting and switching out for time. The very odd thing is that it will fix the anomaly in the first room but declare I reported wrong buggy I think but I hope you can address this in the nex...

FPS limit not working

fps will go to unlimited unless I put on vsync which I would prefer to not use as it produces allot of input lag

*spoiler* item needs bigger hitbox

The hitbox for item black_glazed_jar in bedroom. I tried to tag it during a run on hard and it didn't let me I didn't want to ruin the run and try again ** figured out my mistake with all the lighting settings I couldnt see where it moved to in the room You should allow two hitboxed though where it moved to and where it moved from...
