It sounds interesting, thanks for sharing!
Nvidia recently implemented new ShadowPlay functionality still in Beta that seems to offer similar service but only for 2 people so far: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/877790/geforce-experience/geforce-experience-share-early-access-read-me/
Not all games support this (list on website) and I don't know about Crawl.

I prefer using p2p VPN bridge or hosting personal vpn server for local playing which is more stable than any third-party service.

Just FYI for others, you can only host on a Windows machine; I'd greatly appreciate it and would definitely give the service a try if it allowed Linux (and macOS) machines to host.

Another fly in the ointment is that it (or VPN) won't work with private IP address. At least you need one to make a server.

ddns still can do the job even without static ip address.

Pretty cool, Parsec is also supported on GNU/Linux. I approve. :)

I hate Hamachi ~..~ If Parsec is any better I would give it a try

Sweet.

I've tried hamachi & parsec. Parsec is not flawless but it is 10x better than hamachi in my opinion.

Too incompetent to create a multiplayer by yourselves. Luckily the developers of Parsec saved your asses.

Top teir dev, I will automatically buy their next game based on how good Crawl is. Extra cool that they're giving their stamp of approval for something that some devs might consider a violation of their EULA.
