(Spoilers???) Just beat the the Campaign.... my thoughts (Spoilers???)
Gotta say, overall I loved the game. This was my 1st Craft/Survival game try ever. I really like this method of gaming. I am normally an old-school party-based CRPGer (blobbers/Goldbox, etc..) and a Tabletop General fan (Panzer General/Fields of Glory, Sengoku Jedai, so new genre for me. :-)

Combat was.... passable, probably easy for better gamers than me, but still I enjoyed it. End fight was stupid to figure out but once I did, easy as pie.

The base story is excellent. I did find that I completed goals that wouldn't clear,.. ex - finding the Pilgrim's Library, defeating the Troll King (with my crossbow, which I thought was too easy....), etc.....

When mining, I would mine from the edge and circle my way up (spirally) in case Orcs or Hordes came. You can just hide from the horde behind the ore and rock. Too easy...

I see I have a final, never ending mission of restoring Moria. I know I will get bored of that. IF there are ANY other Medieval Fantasy games in this genre, please let me know! Been searching, Valheim looks like my next game. Maybe Project Zomboid as well.

Just finished it myself. Pacing was not bad. Valheim is a lot of fun but way more challenging than this game.
Yea, it is quite fun. Have you tried playing with others? Even more fun. It is awesome to see 4 dwarves mining singing together in harmony.

No I wish I had but nearly impossible to coordinate. I have done team Valheim.

The Z height in this game is amazing. I even climbed above the dragon and started shooting out the wood trying to make it collapse before I figured on the pillars.

This is how i farm bats in hoards. I sit up high during a hoard and they get summoned. People complain about not enough bat droppings, but really, it is easy to farm this way.

Also, i wish they had more functional furniture is what i would like to. Hopefully they update the game to add more functionality. For example, those piles of crap could also be used for farming plants too, and not just bat droppings. At least i feel they could add some more stuff too like that. Would love to have chairs you can sit in. Valhein i think at least has that. I never played it, but i have watched my friends play it in broadcast before.

Valheim and Conan Exiles are very good, have lots of time in both and u can build insane forts/buildings. This game is very similar to them, big difference is this is under ground and others are above with unrestricted building areas. Conan #1
