Sadly, I can't seem to learn the Mithril Ingot recipe.
I've done a story and a sandbox map, can get to the force, can find the mineshaft, have some 200+ mithril ore, adamant hammers, repaired everything and explored everywhere, but the recipe won't unlock.
No Mithril ingot means no mithril weapon which means no dragon fight. Locked so close to the end. Disapointment.
Only solution is waiting for some friends to get to the mithril stage in their game, and see if I can't piggyback off their forges.

Yup, repaired the forge, fought the horde, took the khazadstone etc, can see the spear to be crafted, have everything but the ingots.

I haven't looked into it, but I've read that some people host finished games or offer their finished save for download for other players who have problems like that or can't find ores or have buggy achievements.

The Mithril ingot is at the top of the list. right under IRON. it is smelted from the Ufuhan furnace

Do you have mods? It is possible if you use mods, it may interfere with stuff like this.

I got it from making Durin's Axe. If someone else in your game made it, maybe that is why you are locked out of it.
