Need advice please, possibly missed something
Looking for advice please. Just killed the watcher and repaired the drain pipes and pulled the lever on the cog system, nothing happened or activated. and i have not received the Shanor recipes. am i missing something or is it bugged. I'm in sandbox mode if that matters.

Done some quick google searches and couldn't find a clear answer to my problem. any suggestions or solutions would be great.

Should be a few pipe pieces(3 total iirc), and a cog you need to replace, if you did that and it didnt work you might need to restart?

i restarted the application and PC and it didnt change anything, so my save is toast probably? i completed the repairs and pulled the lever.

-Thanks for the response.
You won't see any changes at the pump station. Head to the forge and see if you can enter it before you give up on your save.

I haven't actually found the forge of belgost, that i can remember. Most guides ive seen online say the water is supposed to drain and give me the recipes, maybe i need to find the forge and repair it as you've stated before i do anything else. i kept moving forward and made it to the Nogrond forge, but can't make the ingots yet for obvious reasons.

-Thank you for the advice
Theres no way to access the belgost forge because the water levels never lowered enough. im not sure there is much else i can do unfortunately.
This is what i did. First, i went to look at the flooded area. MY character mentioned the pumphouse. Then i went there and killed the watcher. After that, i found the pipes were missing parts. Several inside and outside, including one near the annoying black mist spewing out of the ground.

So i build a base very close to the pumphouse, and crafted the missing parts. You should have the recipe's for them if you repaired the big forge from earlier. This way you can just carry them a short way. Note that i did have to build a hearth near one of the pipes i needed to replace as it was up in the air. So i build a small hearth, build a platform to get up to the pipe, and use the new one to fix it. You could probably use quick platforms too i imagine.

I have fully repaired the station, including all of the pipes (3 total) and the gear. And pulled the lever inside the station. Thank you for the help.

Im glad it got fixed for you. I do not know if looking at the flooded room activates the quest or not, but it does not hurt seeing the flooded room first.

Also, for me, i had to repair 5 pipes. The most annoying ones were one up in the air very high, and the one in the darkness mist spewer. Had to repair that one fast.

The repairs went very easily, but i still dont have access to the belgost forge because the station didnt drain any of the water for me. i sent a support ticket in asking if theres a way to back date my save to try again.

Can i join your game? Maybe you missed one. I can see if you missed any pipes. As i said, in my game, i had to repair 5 of them. Ill send you a friend request, but only after you accept on here in the forum and say you want me to. Then i can see if you got all the pipes fixed in your game.

LOL..call me the dwarven plumber.

If not, then i suggest sending the support ticket. I am sorry your issue was not solved. I hope you get it fixed, and it sounds like part of it worked.

Technically, there were 5 TOTAL pipes i fixed in my map seed in my game, and 1 CRANK. Did you fix the crank? I forgot about it, but i remember i had to fix it too.

Sure. i would be happy to help you out when i am online.
The water drains when you find the entrance to the forge and pull a level there.

Fixing all the stuff in the pump house across the lake is just a setup for all of that. Nothing happens until you use the lever outside the forge.

There are two levers to activate the pumps.

1. Is in the pump house.

2. At the gate to the forge, is another lever, pulling this will drain the forge and open the gate so you can access it.

This confused me at first, too, but there are two phases. First, you fight the Watcher, repair the pump, and flip the switch. It sounds like you have done this.

If you further follow quest markers seeking out the Eastern Stairs, you will eventually find a large grate closing off a flooded room. THIS is the Forge of Belegost, where you get the Shandor recipe. Next to the grate will be a lever. Flip this lever to drain the room. Once the room is drained, the grate will open and you can go about repairing the forge, same as the one in the Elven Quarter. As soon as the forge is repaired and activated, you will get the new recipes, though you will likely have to fight off a horde before you use them, same as the Elven Quarter.
