Durin's Lamp Issues
So I've had the recipe for Durin's Lamp for some time but have always been missing an ingredient to make them, Mahal's Gift. I figured I would come across it eventually. I now read that it's supposed to drop when you repair a shadow vent. I have never seen this crystal anywhere, including when I repair a Durin's Lamp and banish a shadow vent. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks!

Never mind! I just found them in the middle of shadow vents that didn't have broken lamps in them. I was always too scared to go out that far and didn't think there would be goodies in the middle of it. Anyway, leaving this here in case it helps anyone else as dense as me.

Mahal's gift is always by the spot where the darkness seeps out of the hole in the ground. What i do is run in and grab it before i get shadow cursed too much. I am posting this here in case anyone else in the future has same question.

Just so you know, you can just build boards up to the shadow rift and the pick them up, without ever getting cursed.
