DEVS! cursor mouse background glitch bug c:
not sure what is going on but i noticed there is a mouse cursor bug glitch here and there. its very quick and fast in the background (usually happens more in the middle off to the right of screen-ish) if in borderless window and sadly doesnt go away even back in fullscreen. but goes away when game is restarted c:

i was on windows and now i am on arch linux, in-game issue. and it happened with a friend as well.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I've recently started to have the same issue.

You're best off joining the discord and reporting the bugs directly to the devs, doubt they will pick it up here. and yes. I get it too, and reported it.

Reporting Bugs / Submitting Feedback

If you believe you are experiencing a bug in game, please submit a bug report to https://northbeachgames.freshdesk.com/support/home with as much information as possible including your log and save files if playing on PC. For further information on how to do this please see: ❕support-and-feedback

This is the quickest way to get information to the team and feedback can also be submitted using the same form.

Please report all bugs, even if it is a "Known Bug" among players. The more information and files we have from different gameplay sessions regarding these issues, the quicker the Dev team can track down the cause and resolve them. It also helps us to track how common the issue is among players.

okay so, the way to fix this is the following:

1) press windows key + R
2) type in "regedit"

3) unfold the HKEY_current_User
4) unfold control panel

5) select the Desktop text , on the right side there should be a bunch of other contents, Some Red, Some Blue

6) Find ForegroundLockTimeout and double click it,

7) Change the value back to 0 (hexdecimal)

And the stuttering should go away after a pc restart.

(This may not work for everyone. But fixed the issue for me.

This is not a game issue, but a windows OS issue. Try updating windows OS. My version got fixed doing this method. Other things you can try out is clearning out your cache on steam, clean out your browsers and update them. Not sure which step fixed it for me, but one of these fixed it for me.

I understand what you mean by it's not a game issue... but funny how it suddenly started on the last update and never had it previously. So with that, I say it IS a game issue, they changed something and it made it do this.

No. still set to zero. Wonder if it's a steam overlay thing as I use that a lot in game too.

Hello, 3rd party overlays can cause this issue. if you are using any Nvidia overlay or post processing or any Discord or Razor overlays I would disable them and restart. Steam overlay shouldn't cause any issues.

im using no overlay except steam
this blinking cursor only shows up when playing RtM

As M_Red said, I'm too also not using any overlays, only the built in steam one. The issue has only started happening since the last update, wasn't there prior to that, and my steam / nvidia drivers haven't changed.

It has nothing to do with overlays. This issue appeared after patch 1.5, I never had this before, and the only overlay I used before and use now is Steam overlay. Neither Nvidia nor Discord. And it only happens in Return To Moria.
