Ironic
Isn't it ironic that a game full of "A list" Hollywood celebrities, has some of the worst acting I've ever heard? This is a common problem though. Hollywood snobs act like a video game job is not important, just because the Oscars doesn't celebrate it. It's really f'in irritating. They only got this gig because they had careers 20+ years ago (they're all washed up nobodies now). And another horrible thing is when they are asked in interviews if they play video games; that is, when they're "promoting" a game they were in. And they always say "yeah but I'm not good at them". Because they don't play them and don't want you probing too hard asking questions lol, because they'll give it away. They value movies like they do, when video games are arguably better than movies (although, there are worse video games than worse moves *obviously*). I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed this and what was a good example of it. Like a big-name celeb talking about having "played" video games, or poorly voice acting in a game. Honestly off the top of my head, the best Hollywood actor, video game voice has been Gary Oldman in Call of Duty: Black Ops 1. He clearly didn't know anything about the game when asked by Graham Norton (I think it was), but he still put in a great effort. It's just funny to me how these same actors are worried about doing poorly acting in a movie, but they act like nobody will even play their game lol.

real
I mean it doesn't help that they're old as balls and are asked to act as if they were themselves from fourty years ago. Except Danny Trejo. Danny Trejo delivered perfectly because this man doesn't age, he only matures.

The absolute worst acting in the game is from Chuck Norris. I was really impressed how someone can read the text with such monotonous voice.

The main boss guy obviously tried though, the green top guy who played blue guy in the guardians of the galaxy tried too.

Well, if game made him younger anyway then nothing prevented them from using AI to make his voice younger too. AI can even be emotional nowadays.
I always had the impression that this was to pay homage to 90's cringe movies where bad acting was expect.

Like, none of these people are A-list. I felt it was all B-list and the vibe of the game is specifically B-movie on purpose. Its what makes the game soooo good. The 90's camp. Reminds me of movies like Hackers and Mortal Kombat. It's dumb fun for the sake of being dumb fun. I dont know about everyone else but I'm loving it.
