Remove robots

Please give us an option to disable the cagnali DLC. I don't want robots in my game, they're annoying and ruin the 90s heister feel.

I agree, sure they're challenging but it's less fun; the human enemies are more satisfying to kill lol

I find the robots easier but I agree, should be able to turn em off if you want a classic experience.

robots can sometimes be easier, but they can also consume a lot more bullets and being a little buggy + extra performance cost? + explosive. do agree that the other enemies seem often better to fight. Although headshots on some of the human targets can get a bit derpy too. like the white stun enemies sometimes take more than a mag to the head.

at times the robots can be a decent difference to engage with, but on some maps makes cover even worse.

You should be able to disable dlc by clicking the game in your library, then on the right you will see your DLC.
Just near that is 'manage my 4 dlc'
Click that and deselect the cagnali dlc.
Hopefully that works.

disabling an DLC, not sure if it will break stuff, or just have an worse map pool to select from.

Disabling the DLC through steam will disable the contents, although since Cagnalli replaced Barbaro and the Scudos she will still be in the base game. Not sure if the robots will still appear with her present, though.

Yeah, it would be nice if it was just low RNG that the robots happen in a normal game run, and of course always have the robots in the dlc one

I did that and verified files. I know it removed because I don't have the weapons anymore. Still, the robots occasionally show up in multiplayer.

Not a fan of the robots often too myself in multiplayer.
My biggest issue beyond them is the bloom and lens flare. GOD is it overly bright.

Still you get Robot Enemies and Cagnali still replaces the Old Don. You just lose access to the Heist and Weapons.

Yes, Cagnali has canonically replaced Don Barbaro, who died, according to this:

So disabling the DLC is useless.
