How to be sneaky doing the mission where you gotta put devices in a bank

So i am trying to do this main mission where I need to be sneaky to install 3 devices, but I ALWAYS get caught, either from destroying cams or some civilian inside the building. I have tried it like 5 different ways and still cant complete that mission I wish I had a pistol with a silencer on it..

hmmmm is that the mission that follows you obtaining a disk and then a hacker in a prison smuggling you information out? or is that a different mission?

also on what difficulty are you playing? I have only played the campaign on normal so far but for me its always just 1 device that needs to be planted and not 3, so I never had any trouble with that mission at all
I just made sure the cameras and civs are looking away, then walked up to the place where I need to place the device and placed it, in and out in under 1 minute^^
but I guess its a lot harder on higher difficulties then?

Edit: why would you want a silenced pistol for this? what are u trying to do with the silenced pistol u cant do with a throwing knife?

I am on normal mode and yes its that quest after you collect the disk, for me it says place 3 to smuggle info

You're supposed to sneak around, not destroy cameras and kill civilians with a silenced pistol.

Stealth is insanely easy in this game, especially on normal, AI is basically blind.

Don't destroy cams, you can however take people hostage as usual and that won't break stealth even if that doesn't make any sense

I believe it's 3 devices because you're down a different quest line where you did not get the disk? When you secure the Data Disk it's onöy 1 device. If not, it's three devices

To further the question, did you break out Wiz?

Also, try to play it cool. Avoid cameras, and try to stand under them. Do NOT sprint away from cameras. They'll detect you even faster if you do.

can you break out Wiz? the only Wiz parts I know is Wiz throwing a message into a laundry bin and Wiz hiding a message in soap and throwing it down a drain

so far the message in the bin part always succeeded for me, so not sure what happens if you fail it
the first time I had the soap thing I failed it because I had no idea what i was supposed to do, but failing it doesnt seems to do anything but add a day or two (if you dont fail it the quest line continues after a day, if you fail it the quest line continues after a bit more then a day)

you have to fail 1st briefcase retrieval to get him

Had this mission once and yeah, THREE devices needed.

It's different than the one device mission.
