The latter ones have to be killed by going loud on a mission in the same turf where the badges are, then wait till they show up.
And I had such a nice way to off them as well using Berserk Equipment... Oh well, I guess the better tactic is to speedrun the heist, then.
so I guess the detectives u kill at the boat are detectives that can no longer be called in later to clear a turf
but honestly I never paid attention to the investigation score right after killing a detective, I just know that I have always ended up with 0% Investigation after giving the imported cocaine to Norris and having Khan arrested
I also always kill the 2 detectives on the boat in stealth but not sure if it does anything besides not allowing Norris to call them in to clear turfs later
but the 2nd point you are making is wrong btw, they do not have to be killed on the same turf,
any turf any mission will spawn a detective if:
- you have at least 2 heat when you started the mission
- the mission gone Loud
- there is a detective badge somewhere on the map (doesnt have to be the same turf as the mission)
after the Norris overview showed 4 dead detectives no new ones seemed to spawn...
but i m also not entirely sure what causes detectives to spawn, I typically do everything as stealthy as possible, so maybe thats why I dont get any more detectives then 4 per run
