What Wammbo said, and no one really talked about it for the past year that it was on EGS. Had a bad launch as well, from what I'm gathering. Not many watch it on twitch. So, yeah it's gunna have to be pretty great to climb up.

Currently trying to find someone playing it to watch or recent vid.

1700 concurrent is really decent, really. I don't expect the typical 'massive peak, players moving on to next hype the next week' kind of graph.

Start at decent level, steadily increasing to a fairly stable level. Relatively small, but dedicated player base.

Numbers without context don't mean ♥♥♥♥.

If you liked payday you'll like this. It's the same style but with a more modernized quality of life and a much better single player experience with the rogue-lite campaign design.

This was originally a EGS & console only game. So the numbers should be higher than that which appears on Steam. I kinda wished games show the online players count like in the old days.

Wait for the weekend to get an idea of the peak numbers. It kind of stealth launched on Steam, and I think there's a chance it will pick up when players get an idea of how much you're getting for your money.

The three big tells will be the launch peak (most games are biggest ever on launch), weekend peak (for the miracle save) and then how much it bleeds over the following days and week. Some games get really lucky and grow steadily or get a viral success from talk online after the launch but hard to force even with all the modern "sponsorships" under the table for "influencers" and "creators".
