No configurable sharpening filter of any kind. Though on my end it's the opposite, so I add sharpening via AMD Adrenalin. Interesting to see some folks asking for more and others for less sharpening. Wondering what's the difference.

I can clearly see. Doesn't look like that on my end though. That said I am using XeSS + TAA at a fairly low resolution (ROG Ally) so that may impact things.

Was this issue addressed? I noticed this too in the playtest, it looked like it was over sharpened and/or DLSS remained on despite being off in the settings.

I bought the game anyway although that sharpening really annoys me. I haven't finish my download yet, I'll let you know when it's done.

Not sure if you still interested in but NO it still oversharpened even while upscaling is off.

Have devs responded to this yet? Any idea if there's a fix or is it a "is what it is" situation?

Yes, there's oversharpening and I wish I could turn it off. My monitor is already calibrated for proper sharpening accuracy.

I know you can disable a lot of the visual effects by putting

[SystemSettings]
r.Postprocessing.disablematerials=1

In your Engine.ini - which is located in : "C:\Users\YourUserName\Saved Games\CrimeBoss\Steam\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor"

However this also disables the effect when you ping a guard he doesn't get outlined

I've noticed all the Anti Aliasing options enhances this issue. When I turned AA off, the image was much more crisp and less smudgy/low resolution looking. I think they need to look at their AA implementation?
