Can you pause when playing solo in "crime time" mode?

I played this game on Epic but refunded it because you could not pause the game. It was a huge bummer because I love the randomly generated, short missions feature but not having the pause convenience in single player was a deal breaker for me. I could understand if this was a shared world game like Destiny 2 or Division 2 but for a Payday-esque game, it makes no sense to me.

“Payday-esque game” literally Payday 3 doesn’t even have an offline mode to begin with 💀 but yeah , like crime net offline of PD2 , there’s no feature in multiplayer to do that as of now, in campaign you can do it
btw this game is 100x better than PD3 and I am a fan of PD overall but I don’t think you can find a better heisting game than this, game is gonna be 20% off on launch with all dlcs for free , it’s $16 lmao
I spent 100 hours in the campaign totally offline and pausable and I am still finding new missions in the campaign so why don’t you try the campaign a bit ? it has some cool easter egg/hidden missions , in one of em you are in a prison, in a war, you play chess, you play basketball etc etc

Payday 2 is the best , but if you want a modern complete game , there’s no better game than CB
also try “One Armed Robber” which is for free and has more concurrent players than PD3 lol

One armed robber is fun for a few hours but isn't difficult at all. So if you want to chill out and have no stress at all, perfect game.

You can't pause in (solo) multiplayer, but you can in the single player campaign. Crime Time no longer exists btw. It has been replaced with shuffle, which is in essence a multi-player mode, but you can play multi-player in a private lobby with bots or solo.
