Did I miss out by not buying the game for 1$?

And also, must say that i noticed a spike in bot activity. Main goal of bots is to trash the game and the devs (probably organized by a competitor in the genre of heists). They go on about some rando anime twitch vduber "getting booted", whatever that means, and the funniest thing is that i found that channel and it has literally zero references or clips of this game. Kinda sad that in between those bots there are likely people too, those who never knew who that was and never checked whether this was all real or not. Smells like a successful psy-op. Imagine if China employs thousands and millions of similar scenarios, the states would probably collapse judging by what i see.

Well the game is great, so yes, you missed out on the 2 dollar sale in April.

That sale happened because there was a community event where we had a goal of collectively earning a lot of money, so in a developer stream they showcased a few things. So they had a free weekend on consoles and Epic, but also the 90% off sale on Steam.

But the game goes on 50% or more off often enough so keep an eye out, wishlist it so you get notified next sale.

The drama thing is unfortunate it caused a lot of damage for the game, and these forums were on fire for over 2 weeks.

But regardless of that, the game is great, and we got a packed roadmap of content this year, if you played PAYDAY, it's a similar 4 player co-op heisting game but there is also a Roguelite singleplayer campaign mode where you conquer the city in a turn based territory mangement gameplay, with heists and gang wars in between, so if that sounds good to you, and if there is another big sale sometime soon, you should get it.

Thanks, gonna look out for the 90% off. Only played payday once, but i saw a bit of crime city on streams of my friend, thought it was a cool arcade shooter.

It is very Arcadey. It has easy to pick up FPS gameplay, do heists, steal stuff, earn a high score.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Crime Boss; Rockay City Arcade cabinet, with 4 seats and controllers, with the faces of Michael Madsen, Michael Rooker, Danny Glover, Chuck Norris and all the other celebrities painted on it.

I know Left 4 Dead 2 has one for the Asian Arcade market.

No, they are key reselling sites, you buy a key from them, then you activate a key on your Steam account, it's there, you have no grounds for asking for a refund, when you didn't buy it from Steam directly. The key reseller sites policies on refunds vary, depending on the site. If they have any at all.

But I mean, let's be serious here, if you want to refund a game that cost you 1 dollar, I mean, do I even continue?
