You can often go quite a while without seeing any bugs or unexpected ai quirks which is great but there is a such a wide variety of them and they don't happen with any consistency that they are typically very hard to predict and can derail things fast.
One that happens a bit more often than i'd like is being spotted through walls in stealth although some of the lesser ones can be mission/campaign ending e.g. having all your inputs disabled( happened to me in a very close turf war, switched to a new gangster who was unable to shoot, aim or use their items).
As for ai i find allied ai is good around 70-80% of the time but i've encountered each of the issues you've mentioned at some point and boy do they suck.
The bots can vary widely at times with how they interact with loot sometimes trying to grab bags at all costs even if they have to charge through waves of swat to get them, while on the other hand sometimes they are allergic to them and are seemingly adamant to avoid them.
I'd love to see more content added, particularly new missions and scenarios although i really hope bug fixing continues to occur and many of these issues get resolved overtime because having a mission or campaign ended due to a bug is a terrible feeling which is a shame because the rogue-light mode is the funnest part of the game for me.
Genuinely not in the mood to reply to the rest of the things you mentioned :( Might do later, sorry.
AI don't see you through walls. they do see you through windows (including the windows on doors). Bots also don't get caught unless you order them somewhere they shouldn't be. You're messing up and blaming bugs. (the game does have bugs but not the ones you're talking about)
Its common in roguelites for you to have to learn things in real time. If this is your first roguelite then you should learn this, you have to use contextual clues to figure alot of things out and this game rewards that build up of knowledge as well as you could expect it too.
Also it sounds like you're getting the bots killed because you don't understand how they handle your orders or what they prioritize. If you see a bot freeze and stop going after loot THERE IS SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO DIE NEAR THEM GO AND KILL IT. This will be true 100% of the time. If you don't do that then you are at fault for not killing what needs to be killed. Bots loot you kill, if you do anything else you'll have a bad time.
Also if you're worried about 120k then you're brand new to the game and literally havent' done anything yet. 120k is 1 job pretty early on in any run. Later in a run you make a quarter mill a non big job. Its a roguelite, you lose things sometimes, you also get them back next time. Its literally part of the genre... but also DON'T JUMP OFF RANDOM ROOFS, ALWAYS TAKE THE STAIRS, THIS ADVICE IS FOR REAL LIFE AND THE GAME.
Also to double clarify the game is a roguelite, with 2 meta progression wheels so you are going to lose alot of runs at first but after a short amount of time the game will become pretty downright easy. If you keep playing and failing you will start to have an easier and easier time until you are winning every time without trying that hard.
Final edit to just add: You've not even done 7 runs of the game as of the time of me writing this, the person agreeing with you hasn't finished 9 runs, you're still at the start of the meta progression. If you are restarting every time you get caught or something happens you don't like you're gonna be slowing down your meta progression and having a worse time. Just play the game and don't worry about restarting any missions, it only hurts you to restart missions.
I can 100% confirm I've been detected through a wall or object on more than one occasion, not a window, a wall, and a bit presumptuous of you to assume this is what happened to both of us with such certainty, especially as this has been mentioned elsewhere by other members of the community and is a seemingly known issue.
If you type "crime boss detected through wall" on youtube you can find 2 videos of this occurring, 1) "crime boss npcs can see through walls now" 2) "Crime boss ai just has walls now". Both show npcs getting suspicious while investigating a noise despite having no line of sight to anything remotely suspicious(unless you count the brick in the first video as suspicious) In both cases there is a solid object between the bot and the player and they get detected regardless.
This usually seems to happen when a noise is being investigated from what i've seen but i've also had a civilian facing a wall(searching through a filing cabinet) detect a ziptied guard directly on the other side of that wall which shouldn't have been possible since there was a solid wall(with no windows) between them, There was no direct line of sight involved but they were able to see the guard regardless.
I also don't really agree with your take on the ai since while their generally reasonably competent they will occasionally act completely recklessly or ignore orders given.
Sometimes their priorities will be completely inappropriate given the situation which can cause things to go fubar pretty damn quickly e.g. a bot wants to upgrade their primary weapon, and runs through a full team of swat to pick up their new weapon, they will also sometimes refuse to leave loot alone unless ordered to standby but you may not want them to stay in that location so you're stuck between a rock and a hard place of having them running off on their own and probably getting downed or staying in a bad location where they will also probably get downed etc. Also as the op stated in their original post, bots will rarely act without any orders whatsoever which can also cause problems.
I think this usually happens if they start getting detected by a guard or citizen and they will unprompted attempt to subdue the target. In the bank heist mission where the crew starts in the vault, i've had a bot attempt to subdue a guard outside the vault right in view of a camera when no orders were given and they should've been on standby, this happened practically at the very start of the mission.
realistically i don't think the 2-3 orders we can give to bots covers all the actions we may need them to take, Something like a toggleable "leave it to me" where they completely ignore looting and subduing targets and can be used in conjunction with follow me and standby could potentially be pretty useful to avoid situations like the above.
as others have mentioned you are treating it as if I am solely the problem here when others have encountered the same issues I have. the example I gave of AI getting stuck trying to loot or running into walls etc was literally where no enemies were around as it was the break and I killed them all, the other AI teams got their bags to the van but there is always 1 guy who stands there stopping and starting.
Most of the time I don't even issue orders anymore as again like others have said the bots do their own thing well for the most part. But even then I have taken bots into battle with me with tons of health and good guns yet they basically just stand in the open acting as giant targets. I shouldn't have to command them every few seconds to keep them from getting domed.
This also isn't my first rogue game and I have to say every other game like this I played gave me plenty of context as to what I should be doing, how and why. This is the only game thats rogue like where I have felt lost or confused on what the rules actually are because they seem so inconsistent.
Not saying I am fantastic at the game and its all the games fault. I messed up plenty of times and I didn't blame the game for it one bit because it was genuinely my mistake. The things I argued here was the fact that most of my issues have been from the same bugs others have reported including seeing me through a wall which genuinely is a thing. It happened where I was across the street from a civi and the civi somehow saw me in a private area even though there was an entire building between us.
