How do you trigger Wiz's storyline mission?

I already unlocked him to be a hireable team member but I can't get his storyline missions to trigger. Someone said that you have to fail the briefcase retreival mission during the "Key without a lock" mission for the data disk, but when I fail it once, it just gives me another chance to steal it again and once I fail that one too, that's it, no special Wiz mission where he has to score hoops (atleast according to the videos on youtube)

They might've changed it recently, failing "Key without a lock" definitely worked before.

Maybe you have to retrieve it once then fail the 2nd time it appears? Since it has different set of missions that are unplayable once you finish his story.

IF you have him as your team member, I think what you have to do is to kill him off.

Then in the next campaign playthrough you fail getting the briefcase.

if you retireve it on the first try, the second mission never spawns and it skips straight to the prison chess mission. I haven't tried completing the second attempt though

Also, be careful, when you reset Wiz's story and you want to retrieve the disk in the future, keep in mind that they made the Chess Piece mission harder by having some weird collision detection.

I bought him as team member, later I could do quest that I did and failed, and he got delisted from my playthrough

Ok, managed to finally get it to trigger... unsure how though, I simply bought Wiz as a team member and his missions simply appeared... they were completly unrelated to the data disk though

Yeah, they definitely changed it. Previously, you couldn't buy him as a team member.
