Custom boss

Thats taken direct from the store page but all i can find from googling is that we can only change "Skins" So either the store page is extremely misleading or google isent providing answers, since i have the game downloading on ♥♥♥♥ internet can anyone tell me what the actual deal is please.

There is no in-depth cosmetic customization. It's just the skins, as far as that goes - and only for multiplayer. The boss is a preset, static character for the singleplayer roguelite campaign.

For multiplayer, you can also select a primary and secondary weapon and up to three 'perks' that enhance your movement, sneaking, defense, or attack in a few different statistical ways too. Nothing particularly fancy.

Yeah I was also hoping to customise the Boss appearance but its basically just preset skins. I just use the Travis Baker skin and be done with it, rest of them feels weird.

What's basic/misleading about it? Apart of visuals that are limited to preset skins (that are numerous, btw), the gameplay part of customization is pretty in-depth and meaningful for a FPS game. I don't particularly care about non-gameplay customization, because then the bosses look different, while playing exactly the same. For me, that would be misleading.

For your multiplayer character you can choose what skin they have, what weapons and equipment they use, and what perks they have. Fairly simple.

Well it is misleading cause "Create and customize your own boss" 2 things you cant do in solo and only one you can do in MP.

What can I say, it's your loss. This is not misleading at all, you just got hung up on the most innocuous of things. Choosing a skin, perks and loadout perfectly qualifies as "create and customize" and you can play everything solo, like the page says. As for the roguelite, expecting to replace Baker with some random boss is ridiculous.

No it doesent that is "Customize" Not "Create" Creating is creating your own.. not using something PRE-created. but whatever, i have my opinion, you have yours.

You're totally right, my bad. "Create" means create and import your own model using a 3D-rendering tool that you've also created yourself, using a PC that you also created yourself in a factory that was created and ran by you...

Pointing out the fact that your definition of "create" is totally arbitrary means "being an a**"? OK. Your definition of "Play a preset character" is arbitrary as well. I'd understand if you meant picking a preset character from the roster, the game has a lot of those, but a boss with customizable skin, loadout and perks in no way constitutes a "preset character" for me, that's insane.
