Is Camera Jammer the worst gadget in this game?

1: it takes a very long while to disable the camera.
2: the cooldown is too long.

hope this can be improved in next update.

it is its own separate item, the cam jammer and cam spy are not the same thing

I havent unlocked the spy yet but from the description it kinda sounds useless

i mean you can break the cam without raising alert point if you disable the cam with it

brick. its useless for loud and stealth

camera jammer, even with its limitations, is a very useful toool for stealth.
being able to disable a camera without a strike will always be very useful. especially with it being a green and thus really common

i do think the time it takes to jam could be shortened, but otherwise i think its fine

Are you saying that ironically?

Brick can be very helpful in stealth. It's an excellent way to lure guards to a good position in certain heists and early game it's a really good silent tool to take out distant enemies silently in elimination missions. I can be used in loud, but it's notvery practical.

Camera Jammer despite its fine uses in stealth is completely useless in loud.

Yeah, especially when you don't even use it and cancel the hart use, you still get the cooldown.

Cooldown is pointless and abusive Co sideline all it does it to cause you to hide in a corner and wait for it to recover without risking anything anyway so a smaller cool down wouldn't be OP

camera jammer can be used to destroy cameras without getting a strike, so I wouldn't call it useless. it's very good for maps where the security station is too far away or too heavily guarded for you to easily get to it. it's also good for maps where you have no idea where the security station spawns.

to destroy cameras without receiving a strike:
1) jam the camera w/ the jammer (press Q, aim at camera until it's jammed, might have to get closer to the camera)
2) break the camera with a melee attack before it recovers from the jamming
3) notice how you do not receive a strike

note that guards will still call the police if they see a broken camera.
