Input Bug with firing and aiming?
I've noticed that sometimes when I aim my gun or try to shoot nothing happens. I'll click several times or aim and it just seems like it is stuck for no good reason. It doesn't happen always, but it definitely happens frequently enough that it causes problems.

I think this is a bug but I'm not sure. Has anyone else run into this?

I've had it happen with Saws, shotguns, etc...

If it's multiplayer, then it's probably a desync issue. Desyncs in general are currently being looked at.

Happens to me in campaign sometimes, especially with the SAW. Character just stops firing and have to press again.

Yeah single player here too.

I had it stop working for a good 2 seconds kept left clicking to see if I could get it to fire a single shot.
Sometimes I think its associating with moving or sprinting around, but it happens when standing still or just before or after aiming. Sometimes can't even aim.

I know this sounds crazy but I had the same problem. Just switch to Fullscreen Mode under OPTIONS and it "magically" goes away. Ready or Not has the same problem. 100% Solved

This is actually trivial. If the game isn't full screen, the game window can lose focus, due to background processes.

This is a huge ass bug. Are there any articles about this? Is it Unreal Engine specific? I kind of want to research it to avoid it with anything i program.

It's definitely not UE specific. Maybe there is a parameter to force a window to never lose focus, but then it defeats the purpose of using windows, instead of full screen. I've been using full screen in games to avoid issues like these since I was 10.
