Level 55, still haven't unlocked anything silenced

I mean, I'm 50hrs in and haven't unlocked a single silenced weapon and have a ridiculous amount of weapons, skins, bosses and looks still to unlock - I think progression is already kinda borked

A pretty good idea to unlock a gun you really want is to... Focus on guns when you unlock. Even if you don't want that gun you just dropped, that will take it away from the drop pool, increasing the chances of getting the one you actually want in future unlocks. If you never bother unlocking weapons that's a "bad user pick" kind of issue :P

I just hope they revamp this (AGAIN) and this time drop RNG altogether. I love the game but i have burned out at level 45 already. I'll keep coming back as i do enjoy it but the repetitive loop for RNG is not rewarding.

I wish it was buy weapons then level up a gun to unlock attachments. That way it's clear what i am grinding towards.

I might buy a pistol and it might take 5 hours to farm it up to level 10 which unlocks all attachments i want then i need the money to buy them which i hope i earned through farming the XP.

Next i want a better fully auto rifle so i buy one and start leveling it up, get to level 5 and decide i don't like it so switch to another one.

These are the types of grinds i prefer, it's my choice then rather than relying on RNG.

I too have no silenced weapon at level 45 and i like to go stealth so i end up being forced to use one of the characters with a silenced weapon each run instead of my main boss character who i want to customise as my main character i play with.

Keep up the great work devs but please reconsider this RNG, steam launch was your second chance at taking the throne from pay day but sadly numbers are dwindling already and i wonder if this RNG annoys more people than are discussing it and instead they just quit playing.

The unlock system in general is bad. I don't care about skins but that's what all my drops seem to be skewing towards. I need gear, perks and crew members and locking essential stuff like that behind randomization is simply not good. They need to overhaul this or put everything in the shop to begin with.

What difficulty are you on? I managed to unlock a silenced pistol at about 47. I've been playing on hard / extreme though. Remember the ninja star / brick / knife are silent. The ninja stars are near broken with the speed you can throw them.

you can likely get silenced pistol automaticly by going stealth with team-member?
often get an silenced pistol there or they just have it as their stealth build.

Also you might get some better EXP rates with the new update. Not sure if shuffle actually does well as a bonus.

Do agree that cosmetic and upgrades should be separate unlocks, that maybe by doing certain things or set what your level upgrade should be. or if one can do it some other way, or as loot.

Runaways .22 pistol is ACTUALLY SILENCED, despite not having a surpressor on the weapon model. I was surprised too. Go check it out, it's real. Unless they changed in Update 10, which i doubt.

Edit: it appears i'm late lol, yes, I assume the reason the .22 is silenced is because it's not much more than a BB gun? still, cool

An explosion is an explosion, but yes, it's the smallest common caliber out there and it's in a fancy purse too, it works. It would help if the menu said that it was indeed silenced too.
