I give up. Bots now blow stealth of their own accord.
Me and the bot managed to spawn right in the eyesight of two cops. Had to tell him to follow me to get out of sight, then later on when a cop came near, he just ran around the corner right into him and took him hostage, which started a chain reaction. Not worth it, thanks. If the team AI can ♥♥♥♥ you over, what's the point?

Question is, why do you even need bot to follow you during stealth?

Also, i see a lot of people complaining about AI, while for me, after all 46 hours i've played, they never been doing anything weird and always been doing what i want them to do.

AI should really get a rework. On several occasions the AI decided to dodge the blast of a grenade... by running straight into the enemy swat units.

The AI pretty seriously sucks ♥♥♥♥. I've lost multiple runs because the AI decided that hanging out and hugging the cops was a fantastic idea while I was trying to finish bagging the loot. You would think if the bots started taking fire they would take some sort of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cover, but I guess not.

Easily said they help you carry around the cargo, so you dont have to walk back and forth a million times.
outside of moving back + random deal with civ every here and there they pretty much useless , combat wise they are just bad for real

So bot didn't break stealth though. Bot subdued the cop that was about to see him, what did you expect? This is a neat feature that can be used to your advantage. It's your fault for leaving the bot in an unsafe area.

Small tip, press tab and let them follow you to an street or corner where you think it is safe then press tab again and tell them to stay. Easy as that. But I know, it is kinda stupid.

Because his spawn position was in sight of cops and if I hadn't summoned him ♥♥♥♥ would have gone loud.

So if it doesn't happen to you, that has some bearing on whether it happens to others. How does that work?

Except the cop he subdued was in direct sight of three other cops, and neither the bot nor myself could subdue them before the call was out. And how am I at fault for where the bot SPAWNS?

Spawn points are in the public area, and cops/guards only react if you're in a private area, so if you didn't panic and let the bot stay where he was it would be fine.

The AI's pretty dumb, if you're planning on doing stealth I'd recommend just going with Baker tbh, it's what I do at least. The team AI has been in desperate need of a boost since launch, they do seem smarter and better than day 1, but still aren't close to being truly useful and worthy of their cut in most instances.

Well, their detection meters started going up the instant we spawned, so explain that one.

honestly? i find they make not getting caught easier. You can use them to clear out 4 or 5 guards standing in a group without raising an alarm because they will subdue them all then go around zip tying them.

Use the system to give them orders, they get spotted much slower than you so they can literally walk up to two guards as 1 bot and subdue them both with no alarm. If you join in with the group you can subdue whole rooms without issue.

The bots are super nice in stealth tbh

Did you sprint the instant you spawned?
i mean let face it map rng just put the ai infront of the guard it will go off instantly
