Okay? this is solo, im not playing with randoms, im not stupid for that lmao.
and as if im suppose to know if its a "known" bug, Im not apart of the discord or other place. Im here on steam
Don't spam bricks -> in game, stop throwing bricks constantly.
Was on the first Dragon dogs mission with Silver. Threw one scanner and the guard who got the question mark above his head for being too close continued on his way after losing interest. Afterwards, he became VERY interested the container door he couldn't physically see being open on the other side of the truck parked in the middle of the yard. After closing it he kept raising his suspicion until it filled and he just stood there. Frozen in place until the alarm eventually tripped.
I've had it happen on other maps, too. I was using the bricks on some of those, but certainly not spamming them. And definitely not every map, as I have a bad habit of forgetting to bring bricks for luring guards/gang members.
I hope it gets solved soon. Kinda sucks the fun out of a stealth game when the enemies see through walls.
yea that's exactly what happned to me! he was on the other side just gaining random alert, and then got it to full! trying to sneak up from behind and OH you've suddenly been caught!
it was on the first dragon dog mission to
well that's dumb lmao, must be a bug. cause how else would you distract or move them away from each other lmao.
each time you trigger the alert of a guard/thug (or even a civilian in fact), there is a very low chance they suddently unlock X-ray vision and start to detect things through wall, like tied people, broken cameras, windows or boxes.
Brick is the worst offender, because you actively try to increase their detection, but they aren't worse than anything they can detect. You can use brick, but you should not use it at every occasion you get, as it can make them bug out. If you can get them without using the brick, it's better.
My guess is the physics is messing up along the way, causing the brick to constantly *move* which is causing the npc to become alert over time.
