The DLC is just extra content of her.
(i think i actually have no idea)
She's completely replaced Don Barbaro.
Sucks that they cut/replaced some stuff since release :( would have liked to play them.
I hope they re add Don.
He had no cutscenes or voice acting but the robots are kinda silly.
I'd like them to make it a toggle. (So you can have Barbaro and the Italian mob or Cagnali and her robots.)
Altho, when researching Don Barbaro, it seems that Cagnali and her robots were planned more than a year ago, theres posts about a dude digging through the game files and looking at Cagnali and what eventually became the DLC.
It seems Don Barbaro was always a placeholder, sad that he had to go :(
Skill issue.
Honestly, it baffles me that devs dont think of these things, just hire a cheapo actor/actress to cast as news caster (no need to re-hire any of the big name actors), and just add them around the TV watching as this news caster tells the crew that Don Barbaro was assasinated and his Daughter (or whatever relation) is taking over the business, with rumors that she is taking the family's business on a whole new direction due to her connections and business in private security enterprises.
Right now we have content leftover from Don Barbaro which just makes the game look weird or unpolished on her part.
Another possibility is to make Cognali have the OG mafiosos at the start (as Tier 1 or 2 army) and she upgrades them to the PMC-style dudes at Tier 3.
Whats weird is all of touchdown's turf war dialogue was clearly written for fighting the mob.
The titans of the gaming industry got there by doing one thing extremely well. They focused on a genre and polished it to the best of their ability. Those franchises have existed for many years now because of it. I just want a polished heisting game without all the "extra" stuff.
Eh, this DLC is more of a fun side story thing, like how Fallout 3/NV had wacky sci-fi DLC.
The only issue is the lack of turning it off.
IMO the problem is that it's a side thing that leaks on all the rest of the game, and there is no turn OFF button. Robots do not fit for the rest of the game besides her specific campain, yet they are everywhere in solo, in multi and replace lots of cops with high HP suicide bombers.
So much. Just the option. Each and every time those pop up it just pulls my head out of the game.
It's an obvious cheap difficulty gimmick.
The game just seems to be going in too many directions at once and can't decide what it wants to be.
