Laughable game mechanics
it is making sense for when a destroyed camera contributing to alarm alert , but the silent kill any guard without being spotted will contribute to 1 alarm alert just doesnt making sense at all, moreover there are no guard in CCTV room. Also if using same logic why the hell when i disable the CCTV , it will not contribute to alarm alert :wtf:

i only throw 2nd brick on the floor without being spotted then the guard instantly alerted and shooting without knowing my location, shooting without target is just ridiculous

did you throw the brick near the guard at 3-4 meter because they go into alert mode if you do that

You are not using the brick right if he is alerted, I use the brick the pull guards away all the time and have never alerted him.
Not even when i pull the guard out of a large area that requires multiple bricks.
Not all CCTV rooms have a guard but a lot of the time, they do.
silently killing a guard would be a balance breaker if it did not raise the alert level, once you have a silenced weapon you could just kill your way through just about every level, making the game far too easy.
consider it a dead man switch if you think that makes it unbelievable (as if taking half a map hostage would not be suspicious at all).
you are cherry picking a few aspects of the game that prevent the game becoming too easy.

yes , but it was thrown into cover, which the guard should not have seen, unless he has superman's piercing eyes lol

the trouble is , i do not have the silencer , it doesnt even appear in shop, yet we are expected to perform stealth, it is very tedious to throw brick, wait and study the pattern NPC moving, intimidate, zip bag kill fr behind , so tedious, why cant we have some decoy tools or making team mate drawing attention?

a question: does a gas tank blew up by silenced pistol break the balance or triggered alarm cops ?

you can actually shoot 2 guards with a silenced pistol at the same time, and only get one strike. i think it may be kills within a short timeframe, if your team can work together.

i think it makes enough sense, at least its better than the limited guard removal of payday 2, where you only had so many pagers.

AND that infuriating zip-tie limit. So annoying. You have dozens of large canvas bags with you but only 4 zip-ties? Come on now.

my point is when we intimidating guards by knocking them from behind, it should makes more sound than gun silent kill, then how come it doesnt get one strike instead ? i know developer trying to limit silent easy kills, but restricting us to always perform intimidation is just no fun and nothing more than just a chore. IF they want to create a truly enjoyable stealth game, they should take reference from Dishonor or Splinter Cell

You do not need the brick nor silencer to complete early missions with 4-5 guards. It helps, but isn't mandatory.

Also, you can kill a guard if you throw the brick in their head.

Silencer mostly helps with mobster missions ( as they do not have strikes when you kill them ) and to save your ass if you mess up against guards.

Guards can be intimidated even from the front. Just push them before they get their hand on their gun and they will surrend.

yes, it's a time limit to avoid chain reaction. There can't be more than 1 strike per second, so if you're are fast enough you can get rid of several guards and/or cameras and get only a single strike for it.

Some characters have a silenced gun by default, it's a dice roll but you can start with one of those characters.
not needed but it makes stealth a LOT easier.
stealth will always be a bit tedious in single player but you can use the bots to subdue groups of guards if you do it right. (place them yourself before you give the order)

shooting a gas tank will trigger the alarm i think, i am not sure but it makes sense that the noise would alarm the guards.
i have never done it myself so i could be wrong but i assume that it would be too loud.

it is fine to alarm the guards, but if it reveal my position/ or my presence than it doesnt making sense at all, lets see , will try it myself

On the Hardest Difficulty you don't have that Luxury, killing or destroying something is a Instant Strike XD

Explosions count as gunshot - break concealment immediatly and attract the cops, (even if there is no one left on the map I think)
