The game gave a fukng blue screen and my savedgame was corrupted

Yes as your read, i was nearly level 30 and this fukng game crashed and deleted my whole progress, what can i do?

Yes happens alot, also lost my progress before. Everytime the game crashes there is a high chance it will corrupt your safegame.
Sadly the game doesnt restore your save from the steam cloud if that happens but overrides the cloud save with a fresh one.
For now backup the save folder frequently. I leave it open and "tab" to it every now and then to back it up during the game.

C users yourusername documents saved games crime boss saves or something like that

Did you ever get this issue resolved?

This happened to my friend last night while we were playing. His power went out at the end of a mission and when he logged back in he lost all his save data and is back to lvl.1. He his steam cloud sync was enabled but it didn't do anything.

Blue screen is driver/hardware error, always.

That said: you should never lose a save over a crash, esp. with steam cloud syncing enabled. File a bug report, and also be sure to check the backup folder in the savegame folder.

Same just happend to me now. Game and PC crashed, save lost. LvL 0, I was LvL21 and on Day 11.. :-(

My saves have been wiped twice. After second time i got a free program from Windows Store that backup the desired folder/folders to hard drive at a scheduled time.

I got BSOD while playing this game a few days ago, first time it's happened on my PC that I got in November. My progress was not wiped though.

Yep, same thing happened to me last night. Level 26, loading into the train heist when I got an infinite black loading screen, could only alt + f4 out. Booted back up and it treated me like I was a brand new player and got reset to level 1. Hope they patch whatever causes this, wouldn't surprise me if it's actually just the game itself being a POS.
