I got that bug like 10 times at most in some 450 hours (300+ on EGS).
sometimes just to check if anyone is around me^^
I have also run into detection bugs where an NPC will go full on red yet nothing happens.
Suffice it to say. The longer i am playing this, the more bugs are popping up.
Yeah. No.
This will happen without any brick use.
Bug 1:
- the detection bar of an npc randomly fills up, BUT the npc does not go alert and their AI buggs out (they just stop moving and start staring in one direction with a full alert bar without anything happening)
- the game glitches out and will spamm you with the sound effect for an npc going alert, even though noone is alerted
- the alert bar never goes back down again but as long as the npc never sees you again everything is fine
Bug 2:
- the detection bar of an npc fills fully up after hearing a brick, AND the npc goes alert (if it is a guard you get the message that stealth failed due to the guard seeing a ziptied person)
I dont care too much about Bug 1, the one that happens without bricks, as it typically does not end stealth
Bug 1 happens for me once every 10ish games, Bug 2 happens to me every single time I spamm bricks
