[multi monitor issue] game switches screens all the time

It's unplayable for me using 2 monitors. Game switches between the two (yes config is set to my preferred screen) f.e. when going to lockpicking or a cinematic starts.
ALT + TAB helps only once, then it completely messes up and game refuses to switch to my preferred / main screen. Any workarounds (not going to shut off 2nd screen, no)?

Hello there, thank you for highlighting, this is the first time I've heard of this, I also have 2 monitors and I don't have this issue. I wonder if your in game resolution is set too high so when you tab out it resizes incorrectly?

I tried several resolutions (also native of course) - no change.
It works if I change to windowed mode however...

I can second this issue. Game jumps to the secondary display at every opportunity.

Same issue here with 3 monitors.
I'm also unable to get the game to switch back to my primary monitor after the issue occurs.
I have 3 monitors available to select when I first load the game, but only two after the bug occurs,

Same here, very frustrating, especially mid-heist. I've tried running both borderless and full screen and have the issues both ways. - If I don't move the mouse when it happens, I've found left clicking once seems to reset the focus to my primary monitor, but there's a very good chance it will happen again shortly after. Once the issue starts, it seems to not want to stop for good until a restart of the game.

As a temporary workaround you could use Win+Shift+arrow key to move it to needed screen. Still annoying AF.

Yes, but you don't want to do it in the middle of a game, that's what I experience when it happens. It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen.

Getting this same issue. Every mission beginning moves to the other monitor. Going to the Main Menu moves it to the other monitor. Haven't had it happen mid-heist yet.

i Have Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 super, So that's not why.
