Stealth is fun, but...

Look I enjoy stealth in heisting games but this game kinda ruins it on some missions. I don't like how drills always alert everyone on the map and theres no upgrade i can see or anything to change that. I have that Splinter cell frame of mind where if I dont have to deal with someone I wont... but the way the stealth in this is designed if I dont deal with them then they will be alerted by the drill/s effectively meaning i have to take out all the guards on a mission to do it stealthy.

it just kinda... sucks... imo. I wish there was an option etc regarding this (like in Payday 2 with the silent drills)

Add it to the suggestions part of discussions. It's a good suggestion and who knows maybe they'll add it.

Well most maps with drills that can be stealthed have like 5 guards tops.
It'd be interesting to know which heist you are having the most issue with.

It's also an easy way to find out where all the guards are an subdue them all at once. ;)

Its not about it being hard. its my preference. I would rather have the intensity of it knowing there are still guards there then just tie them all up and make it boring. Nothing to do with difficulty just how me and my mates prefer to play

This should not happen unless a civvie alerted them.

I have had guards see things through objects. that may be what you're experiencing. but this post isnt about that
