Is anybody playing multiplayer?

I've been trying every now and then to find a multiplayer lobby and been getting no one, even tried playing with 2 bots and leaving a slot open and still no one, is everyone just sticking to the campaign or is MP not working properly?

yeah its hard sometimes i wonder if their is even crossplay

I have a suspicion something is up with the matchmaking, because Quick Join consistently puts me in a lobby by myself.
Only 1 time out of a few dozen attempts has it put in someone else's lobby.

You have to use the lobby browser, quickplay is just bonked.

In multiplayer you can go under sessions and clearly see that there's not that many games being played, especially in EU considering the latency of these public matches.

That said, you can still get to play some games, just most likely not in a 4/4 lobby though.

I've just been doing the campaign. It's fun. I will multi in the future though.

I'm in North America.

My speedtests give me a ping of 12.

I still see almost exclusively Orange ping bars in the session browser. (there's a few green)

The only match I've done with humans so far I kept getting a pre-match warning about Ping being too high and I would maybe have a bad time, but I had no issues.

All of this is to say I don't know if we can trust the ping indicators.

Yeah, quick join doesn't seem to be working very well, I only just now found a lobby that had another person in it (who wouldn't start the mission) through quick join

I didn't even notice there was a server browser lol, I think some people might just have pretty bad connections since most of mine also high ping and I'm in the US

They can't start the mission.
We had 3 people ready up and it didn't start; pretty sure it only starts early with 4, but I'm guessing because I've never had 4 people in a lobby yet.

Yeah, Had 3 people in a lobby as well and I think the host had to add a bot in order to start, but I did notice that people who join mid game can replace bots so no need to leave a spot open for quick play

yea at one point I had 2 people join while I was afk (forgot I was online) and 1 left and when I died I had the option to replace their bot and get back to playing.

It's not Payday 2-levels of gameplay and content, but its 16 bucks and its better than Payday 3.

I'd say its worth, especially while the DLC is free and the game is on sale, I wasn't gonna buy it because of the epic exclusive stuff and how the game looked at launch but I tried the playtest and it really scratched the itch that PD3 left me with, so I ended up buying it on release lol
