Why does this run So poorly?

I wanna like it. I wanna play it smooth.
V-sync helped to a degree even though I shouldn't need it
Playing at high settings on a 3060 build with 80-90 fps (capped to 90)
Game loads slow..
Sometimes the audio stutters..
Why does the game not do a full shader scan on boot instead of the main menu And every mission? Is it because the levels are randomized?
I like the game for what it is but like. Damn. It's been out for a while and it's not smooth? Should I just play the game on low everything and call it a day? Was even using DLSS ultra performance

There have a been a number of posts where players have adjusted various settings to get greatly improved performance. We are working to compile those suggestions into a usable help document.

do you use an SSD,it may be because of HDD,i have everything on ultra,it runs very smooth and the game and missions load literaly in 5-8 seconds on a SSD.If you have an SSD try to instal it there,it may help.

This might help, there was another game I recently installed and it helped drastically when I put it on an SSD so I'll free up some space there and try it

Makes me wonder if they ever had this kind of feedback being on Epic since there's no forums or anything to my knowledge
I'm sure they'll fix it they just have to collect things prob dxdiag and all of that

I can tell you this: When I tried to report the bug on reddit I was met witht he Crime Boss defense force assuming i was there to trash the game! As irritating as it is... its actually a good sign that people love it thru its jankiness.

I of course, have no idea. I wasted my money on this weeks ago on EGS and its never worked with a controller. And I dont play action games without a controller anymore.

I like that developers are aware of their players, few people actually do that, my applause for a good game, I hope they optimize it more, which gives me jerks sometimes, being with Intel XS performance.

7800X3D w/ a 4090. DLAA on, game runs like a fluid dream in 2k res ultrawide. So, I dunno what you mean.

They have a discord and devs always have been very open to the playerbase since the epic store launch
