Bots on single player?

There's a campaign, and the entire multiplayer experience can be played solo, offline with bots.

You can play 0-3 bots. So completely solo, or with one to three buddies to help you out. I typically bring at least one for revive purposes.

It's a pain to add them one by one to your team but... They can carry bags so it's a bigger timesave. (Please someone update multiplayer to automatically add bots to empty slots)

When playing the singleplayer campaign, during jobs/heists, you can have up to 4 characters and you can switch between them during mission, you can also command them to do certain objectives. They probably do as good as a job as an inexperienced new player. They will bag up loot they see, they will bring it to the escape vehicle, they will revive whoever is downed, you can command them to subdue and tie up civilians or even guards.

In multiplayer, if you decide to fill up your lobby with bots instead of waiting for humans to join, you can still command them, but you can't switch between who you play as, unless you die and you take control over one of them.

It's not a pain at all. It's literally just 3 or 4 button presses, plus you get to choose the bots and loadouts for them. Auto fill I guess would be nice but you were exaggerating on it being a "pain".

they tried to after the update but they messed it up lol, before the update (on xbox and EGS and PS) you had to add them manually, now you also have to add them manually but the prev bots reappear on your team making you think your team is full lmao, in Urban Legends I think they remain the same and it’s great , they will most likely fix this in the next updates as they tried to do it but messed it up this time

I'm sorry but when some missions take like 3-5 minutes tops, it gets kinda repetitive. Bot loadouts should carry over missions, specially when soloing.

This is true. Particularly if you want to try to hit all the objectives. Played with some noob last night that botched the stealth objecive from the start, and I think they did it on purpose. No warning, no communication at all, they just go into the jewelery store and next thing I know alarms are going off.

the bots are fairly brain dead when it comes to avoiding damage, my first campaign was lost because the boss (on ai) just stood there, with no downs left, getting shot by cops right next to an armored van that he could've taken cover in
