Why would you think it's open world...? Its like Payday style. You spawn in mission X map and do whatever you need to do. It's fine as solo, as you can have bots in your team or just do solo. Campaign is rather decent length.

Im mostly playing it solo right now, there's a lot of campaign to play, it's pretty fun. Overall, for $15, you can't really go wrong with it.

The solo works better than Payday as the game is more designed around it.
You can switch between controlling every character for instance as well as the AI being slightly better than Payday.

There's a campaign, and you can enjoy the multiplayer part by yourself with bots. It's great.

I've only played 2 hours of the game so far, all in the campaign. Really enjoying it so far and I can see myself enjoying it for a good while, especially when I jump into the multiplayer.

I'd say no, i think the rogue-lite is easily the weakest aspect of this game, its repetitive, slow, grindy and overall just not as fun as the multiplayer.

I like it but it does have issues with how the game has only a handful of potential maps.
So you'll see alot of repeats even in one run.

I wouldnt say better, just more automated since they can pick up and toss their own bags.

I've been playing for the past 6 hours solo so... yeah it's great helps that the bot AI is very useful.

Yes

I've played only a few basic maps, and I'm already fully aboard this being the better singleplayer experience. Even besides the whole singleplayer focused campaign, the heisting experience is just way better. Not having to micromanage every single bag for your bots is a real blessing. And being able to start with a stealth heister, and swap to a loud heister when the alarm goes off is very cool. I'm just hoping the 'builds' get a bit more complex later on, so you have need for all of your team.

Back when it was an EGS exclusive I played it solely for the singleplayer. I was very satisfied with it and only now I've been trying out the multiplayer.
