Unplayable UI size
Just tried this game for the first time on a 1440 resolution monitor, I can only imagine the hell people experiencing this on a 4k monitor are going through. I'm on the first step of the tutorial right now but think i'll wait till this is fixed to play it lol.

Although I get what you're saying, I don't know if they really think this is a "issue" to be fixed.

Ui scaling is a neccessary and common thing in anything released for pc in the modern age, this is basic stuff.

I just picked this up and am having the same problem. I am constantly squinting to read the tiny text and see the cards. I searched the options, then the internet to find how to change in-game resolution. Finally found out the only way is to change my desktop resolution. I ran through resolutions until I settled on 1152X720 that worked for me. Now all my desktop icons are shoved into a small corner of the screen and I have to change the resolution back every time I am done playing. I did it a few times, but it honestly isn't worth the hassle.

Since I see this has been an issue for many years and people have asked for in-game resolution options for the same many years, I don't think this will be changed, probably ever. So goodbye, card hunter.

P.S. I find it amusing that the background to this post finds card hunter at a large enough resolution that everything can be seen easily but the actual game is so tiny it's hard to see.

Actually, on the CH forum, Sir Civil said GUI scaling was coming. New management if you missed the memo. $:^ ]

So, when exactly is ot coming, then?

As someone who played this on browser on an older PC years ago and has a new one with a huge monitor, I just shrunk the game's screen down which fixes everything. You can resize the screen just like any Windows screen with the mouse. But yeah, it's unplayable full-screen on my 27"monitor.

Just came back to this game after many years and with a new 1440p monitor, and this is definitely an issue. I can't even imagine how bad it is in 4k.

+1. I can't play the game. My eyes hurt after a few minutes. I would love to play it.

Again, just re-size the game screen. I have it in a box that is about 55% of my 27" HD monitor, and it runs great. It works just like re-sizing a Windows folder, just click a side and drag it down or in to shrink it.

This is something we are working on addressing. :)

Nice to hear a develpoer respond. The only way of playing is to reduce the resolution of the computers screen to about 1280 * 720. Just resizing the window does nothing about the UI, it stays the same unreadable size.

Not sure what you're doing wrong or what I'm doing because it is readable on mine shrinking the window down. Now, it doesn't make it super-large like dropping the res on the PC does, but it does help without wrecking your desktop icons.

Sure, it is readable if I put my head much closer to the screen than the way I normally play, but that is not comfortable. So, unless you are doing something like that, maybe explain to me how you can make the UI elemets larger just by resizing the window?
