Problem picking up ingredients in Attack of the Radioactive Thing easter egg

I was just attempting the attack ee and when I went to mix the phenol I found that I could not pick up the wheel cleaner from the shelf in the market. Every other ingredient in the map can be picked up except this one and I don't know whether it's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. The previous game I had to restart because I couldn't pick up a part for the chemical station. It could just be really bad luck 2 games in a row but I've genuinely never encountered such a problem before in the 2 games where I reached the boss fight. Also when doing the radio step it's a bit tricky to actually interact with the radio and to get the guy to talk so I don't know if it's a problem with interacting in general. Just for clarity I'm playing on PC. Has anyone faced similar issues? Is there a Fix? Thanks.

this is a glitch thats been in the game since attack got released, iirc the only fix is to remake the chemical
