I don't know if people are going to enjoy WW1 because there was basically only bolt-action rifles and semi automatic machine guns.
For the people who like futuristic and mordern games there's COD, for those who want a blast from the past there's BF1. Either way screaming kids and lots of sales are to come for everyone. I've personally never heard of a popular WW1 game before so i wish DICE the best on the project.
Have you ever heard of Verdun? While on the hype train maybe pick it up too.
Part of the reason is that Like/Dislike buttons are only used by people who would care about what a forum thinks. I'm honestly tempted to defend the game just because of how many idiots I see here. It's like trolling, but not bannable and a bit kinder, y'know?
In reality, this will sell by the craploads whether you like it or not, because there isn't a single CoD game that has been bad. Not a SINGLE ONE. Ghosts was in mediocre territory, but all of them are at least playable and enjoyable at times, and that multiplayer is still fun as a modern take on the arena shooter.
If you want to lecture me on how I don't know what an arena shooter is, don't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bother. Chances are I know a whole lot more about that genre than you do, I even ran a GoldSrc game server group until my schedule got overloaded and Windows 10 took a sledgehammer to my configuration.
