That's one of the reasons I loved the new Doom so much. You could kill all the enemies and then look around the level and find all the secrets.
Black Ops 3 was pretty long for me. I think it took me about 9 hours to complete, but I still felt rushed.
If you haven't played the recent ones, it might be worth it to buy one of those instead if you are just interested in the campaign. Then you could probably pick this one up on a sale later down the road.
