Restart your game, easy as that. It's a similar issue to g spawn errors in w@w. Something's making the game run out of memory.

Close all processes using VRAM and restart the game, if it persists you do not have enough to run the game.

I have a:
Threadripper 1920x (12 core)
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB Ram

Idle VRAM usage at 0.8 GB
Idle ram usage at 6.2 GB

So I meet an exceed the minimum and recommended game requirements.

Game restart, no change
System restart, no change
Close as many programs as possible, no change
Reduce game resolution, no change
Reduce my game settings, no change
Reduce system resolution from 1080 to 1366*768 (played in windowed), no change
Even disconnected my other monitor (also 1080) and played at 1366*768, no change

Can't get past the riot shield

This must be a them issue not a me issue otherwise their requirements are hopefully unrealistic.
$60 game, good job

Yep. i see now. They decided to never fix whatever this was. Damn. Here I was defending the game and yet i cant progress pass the stupid shield thing. Too late to get my money back too. go figure.
