Why is the campaign so short?
This is the first CoD game that got my attention due to the vast amount of sci fi in it, I love sci fi and a good story which this installment appears to have after watching a few reviews on youtube.

Most of you probably havnt finished the campaign, so my question is more of a general one. Is it normal for CoD to have such short story campaigns? I own games like Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3, both took me at least 40 hours to finish while this game has something like 6-7 hours in it .. again according to the reviews.

I might be getting this since it will allow me to play two campaigns, I believe Modern Warfare is included in the price. Not interested in multiplayer at all.

Call of Duty campaigns are usually between 6-8 hours on the hardest difficulty and this has been the case in every one since Call of Duty 4. The developers every year say their latest story is the 'biggest, longest and best' yet but that's never the case and Black Ops 3 emphasised this as I managed to sift through it on Veteran difficulty in under 6 hours. The multiplayer is where the value lies within these games along with any co-op inclusions. The campaign is just there as a setting for the product and a marketing stamp.

If you buy the Legacy edition ( preferably outside of Steam cheaper https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/call-of-duty-infinite-warfare-digital-legacy-edition/ ) you'll be able to play IW and MW:R which will give you 15+ hours of campaign material and these offer achievements and replayability with difficulty ranges. Certainly worth a look and the old COD 4 remaster is absolutely iconic but don't expect any depth-ridden and engrossing story lasting weeks on end.

I thought the length was fine.
