Operation Burn Water Fight or Flight Stuck

While playing the campaign, I've gotten up to Operation Burn Water. I've blown up the tower and boosted into space. I get hit by the Olympus and my stick goes dead. I've watched some youtube videos of the mission and it looks like the controls just go into manual control and the mission continues. On my PC, this does not happen. I just fly and can do nothing other than shoot missiles, flares or the main gun. I can't control the ship at all. I just sit there until my ship explodes and restarts the checkpoint to just do it all again. I've replayed the whole mission twice with no changes. Anybody esle run into this? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've tried just about every control option to see but nothing works. Seems like a bug to me

Having the same problem. Even pushing every button doesn't help.

its a confirmed bug. if you dont see the large ship and get pulled out of your ship by Ethan then you are getting the bug. no know fix as of yet.

Using my xbox one gamepad i had no issues

ethan should have pull you up at that point, then the mission ended. In your case, ethan might be got too many shot on the mission and died on the back seat, so he can't do anything. Or he was left behind on the refinery, so no one save you when your ship got hit by olympus.

play multiplayer and zombies until it gets fixed. I'm getting confident in my zombie killing skills because of this.

I'm getting the game bug..... I got through Burn Water. - Difficulty was set to the second one down, with optimal video settings. After blasting off & you dead stick, I steered down; & BEHOLD the Olympus Mons rose from below... I hope this helps. Good Luck

This is ridiculous! I just bought the game and am having this issue today on December 19th, over a month later than the original post. Why is a complete show-stopper bug like this going unfixed for over a month?
