Inifinite Warfare still outsold Battlefield 1?
Stumbled on sales numbers, and it kind of shocked me. Even with a 3 week release headstart, IW still has a small lead over Battlefield one.
I'm only level 33 on here, haven't touched the game in at least a week, so not fanboying or anything. Just kind of interesting .-.

After hardline ... people got tired of EA and Dice.

Where did you get the sales numbers?
On Pc there aren't that many players in IW, when I look at steamdb the highest amount of players I saw was around 4000 or so... when there was Double XP. When IW really sold better, then most of the sales were on consoles. All I heared was that IW only got half the preorders than BO3 got.
And after 90% started to hate on IW after the reveal trailer and nearly everyone marked out after the BF 1 trailer, it's hard to imagine IW sold better to be honest...

BF1 and BF in general has been smoking COD since COD MW, COD has not been able to even keep up with EA/DICE and that's why they are putting out more and more garbage like COD IW.

it didn't, look up the stats on BF1 with active players, no COD past or present combined can beat BF1.

Those numbers could very well be retail only so no digital buyers are counted. However it wouldn't surprise me if cod sold better than bf overall (so consoles + pc).

lol Dbl:Tap only bf3 was kind of sorta "ok" after it got patched for 3 months. Couldn't even play that junk so I had to get MW3 instead.

That is true but i am not so sure about BF1.
Only said that most people are tired of EA and their actions and server issues, battlelog problems etc.

I play battlefield everyday.. and you notice a lot of people out there that are not pleased with BF1 atm.

About the numbers... i have no idea to be honest.

Well i am the lucky one that love them both :)

oh it could also be that these numbers count only how many copies did gamestop and other retailers buy from activision to be then sold to customers in the store.

It was down 48% comparing to BO3 but still sold better in first week than BF1 and TF2 combined.

I am not sure about claim that Dice outsold COD starting MW, sounds highly inaccurate to me. Got any numbers to back this up? COD was always outselling BF tens if not more times.

Yea check on websites like VGchartz which track actualy sales by copy, not by amount shipped. BF1 was around 3.5m copies, and IW is around 3.7m. And yea the PC count isn't really relevant. Cod is more console friendly, but battlefield is more PC friendly. So yes, there's a ♥♥♥♥ tons more people playing on PC on BF1.
And I'm guessing the sales being down from Black Ops 3 is part of the fact that it's the first one on only 3 systems in a while. There's no old gen this time around which (surprisngly) makes a difference. And i'm sure there are players that still are solid in not buying the game as a sort of protest against only selling MWR in a bundle.
But yea, I'm just surprised. I was certain that Battlefield was going to take down COD, but even as much as the game has garnered a massive negative backlack, it's still consistenly at the top selling game. The only thing I imagine beat it in it's release month this year is Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Nah, it has to be the overall number. And as it's been said above, shipped amount isn't accurate.

Lets be honest here, BF1 isn't a great game, it's barely better than it's last one.

Everyone was so shocked at the amount of content/guns hardline had, and they basically just did it again with BF1 with a tricky work around, and I'm suprised not many have caught on.

I guess it's easy to fool the masses with a few simple miss directions
Have you played the game yourself?
