On Pc there aren't that many players in IW, when I look at steamdb the highest amount of players I saw was around 4000 or so... when there was Double XP. When IW really sold better, then most of the sales were on consoles. All I heared was that IW only got half the preorders than BO3 got.
And after 90% started to hate on IW after the reveal trailer and nearly everyone marked out after the BF 1 trailer, it's hard to imagine IW sold better to be honest...
lol Dbl:Tap only bf3 was kind of sorta "ok" after it got patched for 3 months. Couldn't even play that junk so I had to get MW3 instead.
That is true but i am not so sure about BF1.
Only said that most people are tired of EA and their actions and server issues, battlelog problems etc.
I play battlefield everyday.. and you notice a lot of people out there that are not pleased with BF1 atm.
About the numbers... i have no idea to be honest.
Well i am the lucky one that love them both :)
It was down 48% comparing to BO3 but still sold better in first week than BF1 and TF2 combined.
I am not sure about claim that Dice outsold COD starting MW, sounds highly inaccurate to me. Got any numbers to back this up? COD was always outselling BF tens if not more times.
And I'm guessing the sales being down from Black Ops 3 is part of the fact that it's the first one on only 3 systems in a while. There's no old gen this time around which (surprisngly) makes a difference. And i'm sure there are players that still are solid in not buying the game as a sort of protest against only selling MWR in a bundle.
But yea, I'm just surprised. I was certain that Battlefield was going to take down COD, but even as much as the game has garnered a massive negative backlack, it's still consistenly at the top selling game. The only thing I imagine beat it in it's release month this year is Pokemon Sun and Moon.
