RPR Evo for me, you can take close and long shoot :D

I'm liking the Volk, the NV4 is good. Sub guns I think Erad and RPR were probably my favorites. The Titan is a badazz LMG, the Banshee wrecks. I think out of snipers my favorite was the DMR or maybe the classic one. The classic submachine gun is pretty killer too.

Really just depends on your playstyle. I hate the Type2 but I have a kit made just for spammer lobbies and it destroys akimbo or regular style too.

try the Mammoth, it hits HARD, 2 to 3 shot kills, its down side however, is its very slow rate of fire, so its a distance weapon, close in you will lose with it

The Mac-Tav is one of the best guns in the game for sure. I use the Flatline and Mac-Tav pretty much 100% of the time. The RPR Evo is right there but suffers in assault mode if there is lag (which there has been a ton lately).

NV4 Flatline and Mac-Tav in Hardcore are the 2 best guns and personally im really liking the Ripper in core game modes

Erad is a beast gun. Epic variants of it are even better.

Mac-Tav for me. I mostly play HC. I use both grips and long barrel. Can sub extended mag for one of the grips. I use ghost/dexterity hardline gung ho. Merc with Armor and Man at Arms. Pop that armor, rush a room, use the tears to fill your cup.
